God, I am sorry I now asked you to expand on your prob! You were
unlucky to be confronted by Korpela. He knows a bit but has
almost zero people skills. If you were more au fait with his
off-key English (I know, this should be beneath me, but as it
just so happens in regard to him, very little is....), his sharp
accusatory and humiliating replies, his little bag of pathetic
"hit-back" tricks (your email address for God's sake!), and if,
unlike me, you could muster a mature and objective stance, you
might take note of some of his concrete suggestions [1] . But you
were taken by surprise and I feel sympathy for you. Don't worry
too much! Usenet is full of people with every combination of
traits, you were just unlucky.
1. In my case, I carefully note what he says and then
deliberately do the opposite on my websites just because it feels
the honourable thing to do before the God of Ultimate and Absurd
Revenge. I have lost not only my nose but my business and income
because of this as I get sacked from job to job, I have lost my
house, my family and am writing this from a stolen laptop on a
found wi-fi band in a back lane. For me, it is worth it.
