there is a small workaround for that. just put the current timestamp
behind the image-url like eg pic.jpg?4390340439

so everytime that picture will be loaded, there will be another
timestamp - and die ie thinks that it is a whole different picture.

this is how i avoid this problem - not the best solution, but it does
work
