I am using XAMPP as a gateway into running my own webserver because it
was the all in one pakage. The only problem I have is that I cannot
access MySQL from the command line and only from phpmyadmin. Phpmyadmin
is a nice GUI app but I would like to be able to type my SQL from the
command line does anyone know how to setup XAMPP to run MySQL from the
command line.

I am running the linux version on Suse 10.0 professional.
