Removing all <tr> tag

Posted by Binoy AV on 01/06/05 12:05

Hi,
I have an html file containing a table. I applied
eregi("<TR>.*</TR>",$contents,$temp) through my Php.I am getting
the output like this-
<td>A</td><td>B</td></tr>
<tr><td>C</td><td>D</td></tr>
<tr><td>E</td><td>F</td>
But my expected output is -
<td>A</td><td>B</td>
<td>C</td><td>D</td>
<td>E</td><td>F</td>
The code removing only the first and last <(/)tr>.
How to do it using eregi ? (or using any other regular expression function. I don't want to use any string replace function.)

Binav
