How point script "snif" to different folder?

Posted by Danny Boy on 04/27/06 10:57

Hi,

I am using an excellent script for indexing the content in directories.
It's called "snif" and is found here:
http://www.bitfolge.de/snif-en.html (just one file, but so extensive I
can't copy it here).

The advantage is that all you need to do is to drop the script in any
folder on a server and point the browser to it. But to me, this feature
is a disadvantage since I need to index directories where the user won't
have direct access, only indirect.

If I do an include, the script shows the content of the directory where
the "parent" page is. If I use an iframe, it works but is plain ugly.

So I wonder if there's a way to point the script to another directory
than the one where it's residing.

Any hints?

TIA for help.
Danny
