They pay loads of money to get a solution from Microsoft and then they are
hooked to use visual basic. The only advantage as I see visual basic has it
that it can communicate quite well with other microsoft products.
All languages has something that they are better on than others, and that can
be a reason why that language is used by a company (but most it's more a
question about what language some guys at a web development company likes and
they use it for everything, even if it's not the best option).
