Thanks for the reply. Down the road I'll put the user name/password into a
database and use that to check 1) if they are authorized and 2) when they
were there last. But I'm just starting so I'll accept a simple cookie for
now. I'll put this stuff in a page you click to get to and will be for
staff only (probably another level for friends). So everyone can get to the
front end (with the cookie/update not needed as I update the page daily
anyway) and selected people (as determined by the cookie initially and the
database once I move to that point) the rest of the pages.
