It depends of your definition of "synactic". Regarding the formalized syntax
of HTML (a rather boring issue, which becomes interesting only through
people's continued efforts to misunderstand it), it's surely syntactically
valid, just as
<frameset rows="Hi, all!" cols="Frames are evil">
is valid (since the rows and cols attributes take a CDATA value).
Why would that matter? It's absurd, it's cheating, and it makes your site
look crappy. Who cares about synactic issues then?
