Yes, it's doable. But your best entry is going to be to leverage your
accounting experience. Get an accounting job with a large company and look for
opportunities to get into programming.
It will be very hard to do otherwise; there are too many people with a lot of
experience and/or degrees. Entry level positions for someone with neither are
rare (but not unheard of).
And a couple of web sites won't do you much good. Employers want to see past
employment experience, not something you did in your spare time.
