vim is excellent...windows or *nix. i use crimson editor as i'm very
particular about code formatting...vertical editing makes for quickly, well
formatted in-line sql statements and putting variable = value into a
columnar format so you can make heads/tails when a bunch of assignments are
being made at once. it also handles working with win scp, smart ftp, and
others that pull a copy of a file and remote it again upon save.
pretty nifty...just wish it folded code and had intellisense.
