This may be a little offtopic but I hope someone can help me out:

I run our company website and have recently made a lot of changes to the
images , I have uploaded these new images to the web server but there is one
small problem

Since the new images have the same exact filenames as the old ones, browsers
with cache setting keep displaying the old images until the cache is
cleared.

Im wondering is there a way to force the browsers to download my new images?
Im fearful that our customers will keep seeing the old images for a long
time...
