Don't. Especially if you have to ask how to do it, don't do it*). Normal
submit buttons are a great improvement over image buttons. See

*) And if you thought of using a jpg image, instead of a gif image, you
either chose a wrong image format for your image or you really thought of
using a photo as a button, which would be weird.
