I received an email this morning from a friend informing me something
to the effect of:
"COUNTY COMMISSIONERS, THE PURPOSE OF WHICH IS TO CONSIDER A PROPOSED
E-COMMERCE ENHANCED GIS WEB ACCESS FEE ORDINANCE, 2006-11."
My question to you; does this mean that all my ebay transactions will
be monitored and taxed? What about small businesses, will they too
suffer from taxation for every online order placed in their ecommerce
applications? How will GIS technologies aid in this process?
I'm interested to hear what you have to say; I'd also like to know how
(if) these technologies have affected your county. Thanks.
