Before running Gallery2, did you check your PHP installation to make sure that
worked? If not, try creating a test web page (e.g. test.php) with the
"phpinfo()" function in it and see if that prints out your PHP information.

If it does, then check Gallery2 next. If not then you need to make sure your PHP
is installed correctly before you can run and PHP based programs.
