Hi,
I've created a compiler tag called {parse} that I can use like this:
{parse $variable}
The $variable is evaluated as a smarty template (using a string resource
and a compiler tag).
Now, I would like to apply modifiers, both to the result, or to the
variable before it gets parsed.
For example:
{parse $variable|nl2br}
But this doesn't work for some reason. The compiler chokes on the
'$variable|nl2br' part, where in regular non-compiler tags, this works.
How can I make it work?
Greetings,
Ivo
