No, the corresponding situation (which doesn't occur) in Windows would be:

You copy section A into the clipboard, intending to paste it later.
Then you select section B and make it bold.
Then you go to paste section A and instead paste a copy of section B.

Bummer. But it doesn't happen in Windows.
