The Marketing Numbers to Generate $10k Per Month!

When it all comes down to it, marketing is a numbers game. Once you have the numbers figured out, then you will know exactly how much you can spend to get visitors to your site, to achieve the monthly income you want.

Below is a generic number sheet that I have written to show you how you can develop a $10,000 monthly income with 1 product that you create, and 3 affiliate programs that you can join.

Initial sales

- 300 unique visitors per day to your website, or 9,000 per month
- $50 product that you created, so you get most of the profit
- 2% sell through (for every 50 visitors, you get 1 sale), this is the industry standard, and very achievable - 6 sales per day, or 180 sales per month - $9,000 in sales per month

This isnt terribly hard to achieve. The $50 product and 2% sell through are quite easy, 300 visitors could be a little tough, but you do get to spend some money to get those 300 visitors. :)

Now comes the backend sales. I made the numbers for these very modest. Usually, I can get at least half of my customers to buy another product from me, but in the example below, I made it only 30%, just to give you an idea. In this example, you will backend sell 3 affiliate products.

You can of course have as many backend products as you want, but this example has it where 3 of your backend products do sell.

Backend sales

- 3-$100 affiliate products that pay you $30 per sale
- 30% of the initial 180 customers buy one product
- 15% buy two products
- 10% buy all three products
- $2,970 in backend sales

Add the initial sales and backend sales together. Total $$$ in sales per month = $11,970

This means you can pay $0.21 per visitor to make over $10k per month. Or, pay $0.50 to make over $7,000, which would be much easier to do, or you can spend over $6,500 per month in advertising (over $0.70 per visitor) and still make over $5,000 per month for your pocket.

$0.21 per visitor is enough to make it work by utilizing free and paid advertising methods. Not to mention leveraging and follow-up techniques which can get return visits automatically.

Now think if you owned the 3 backend products and made $90 per sale, instead of $30. Now that makes some real cash.

Using the last option of spending over $6,500 would be extremely easy. If you spend that much, you should be able to generate more than 9,000 visitors.

Setup your system to achieve these numbers, then work hard to better them. Think if you had a 3% sell through, or got 500 visitors per day. Once you have it down pat, launch another product with the same type of system in place and perfect that, and so on. If you have 5 sites that produce $10k per month as shown above, well, that is $50,000 per month!

To make it easy, just create more products. Instead of 1-$50 product getting 300 visitors per day, have 3-$50 products and each site only needs 100 visitors per day, which is much easier to do as long as you can create products.

Or even easier, create a product with a bigger price tag. Instead of a $50 product, create a $100 product. Now you only need 150 visitors per day to make around $10,000 per month with the system above.

Once you have a set system, and know how much you can spend to get a visitor, than you can roll out promotions and pull in the profits!
