Your personal pot O gold

Every once in a while, we all need a little motivation to keep us going when we get overwhelmed with our business routine! It is always good to keep our own daily reminders around that remind us of why we are here in the first place. One of those should be your business plan.
Take out your business plan and re-read it. If you don't have one yet, now is the time to write one. Even if you are not in the market for business funding, a business plan is still vital to your success. Here's why:
Each business plan includes a statement of purpose. You put in writing what your business is and why you feel it can be a success. You tell the world who you are and what qualifications you possess in this field. You must explain who your target consumer is and how you plan to find him. Your plan must also show who your competition is and how you are equipped to compete with them. There is usually a section for you to explain your promotional campaigns and when you intend to launch them. Your business plan explodes with enthusiasm and energy as you demonstrate your commitment and desire to succeed.
Your business plan is the best reminder you have for the times when you wonder "Why am I doing this?" It will remind you of promotions you have not tried. It can re-energize your thinking to find new avenues to promote. It will enable you to better evaluate where you are now compared to where you were when you wrote your plan. From this, you can search for ways to improve. Most likely, you'll see that you have achieved some success in your business but you've just been too busy to realize it!
Not all business plans have to be used to obtain funding. Your Pot 'O Gold can come just from creating it and reading it often.
