How many businesspeople remember to say Thank you in a special way?

Imagine this scenario:
Your business friend--lets say his name is Mark--sends a client over to you that needs your product.The client loves your product and buys from you.What luck!! This is a sale you didnt even have to work that hard for. And you didnt have to go out and find the client yourself--your friend Mark sent him right to your doorstep!
Scenario #2:
One of your best clients sends orders to you on a regular basis--every month like clockwork. You never have to call or visit and ask for a new order.How lucky can you be to have clients like that?
If either of these two scenarios happen to you on a regular basis, you are very lucky indeed. Most businesses have to go hunting for new business constantly. But if it comes your way unexpectedly--or if it comes to you from a good client, you need to make sure you "thank" these people in a special way from to time. They have saved you lots of valuable time, effort, and perhaps even the normal amount of money it takes to complete a sales call.
How do you thank them? There are many ways to do this......you can take them out to lunch or dinner,or you can send them a special "thank you" gift.
But the bottom line is this--do something!Everyone likes to be shown a little appreciation from time to time. When you do this--youll keep clients and friends for a long, long time. And youll keep your
own business growing!
