Hosting With A Smile
Category: Domain Names | Date: 2001-12-05 |
My first adventure on the internet was with an affiliate program. I used the program's replicating website and thought I would be the next internet millionaire. I spent hours submitting ads to places like the India News local bulletin board.
One day I was reading an article in an ezine that stated, "anyone serious about doing business on the internet should have their own website". Of course since the internet was going to free me of my daily trials of being an advertising executive, I ran out and purchased wesite hosting services and my own domain name.
I was very fortunate that day. Someone turned me on to a company by the name of Bitshack. I hear what others pay for web hosting. I also hear of the problems they encounter and especially with customer support. I feel like I struck gold.
I just found out a couple of days ago that the article that inspired me to get a website, was written by the same guy who takes care of my account at Bitshack. Talk about destiny, this was like winning the hosting lottery.
Someone told me that any hosting company would suffice. Wrong unwise one. I am going to tell you a little about my hosting company Bitshack.
Their hosting packages start at $35 a year. There are no monthly fees, we are talking a flat $35 a year.
If you are more serious into marketing and require your own dedicated server, try $250 a month for your own RaQ server which can host up to 200 domains and serve around 7 million page hits a day.
Looking to acquire your own domain name? A brand new .com / .org / .net will cost you from $12.50 a year. This is a very reasonable price compared to the $30 or $35 being charged by others.
Everything that I have told you up to this point is great. You will have a hard time finding anyone to match the prices that Bitshack offers. Yet in all reality, these points are just a bonus..
If you are doing business on the net, the number one priority in selecting a host is what kind of customer service do they provide. The personal service that I get from them is unmatched. Richard Souter takes care of all of my needs personally. When I need a question answered or another project taken care of, my wishes are quickly satisfied.
Obviously, Richard can not take care of everyone personally, but he assures me that every customer gets the same treatment. In today's world where personal service is so hard to find, Bitshack gives that extra effort that is seldom found.
If you have been thinking of getting your own website or thinking of changing hosting services, Bitshack will not only save you some money but they will treat you like the important customer you are.
