Publishing Ezines The Ultimate Income Booster.

Ezines and newsletters open up a whole new world, a world where *free* advertising to thousands is possible, a world where your work gets published and is read by thousands, a world where you can create multiple income streams and a world where distance shows no boundaries.
The possibilities for the ezine publisher are endless only limited by the publishers vision alone. Many open doors are available, all you have to do is step through them.
If you do not already publish an ezine or newsletter, you are missing out on hundreds of revenue possibilities, so if you have a web site get writing and bring these revenue possibilities right up to your own front door.
An ezine is an electronic magazine, you can create an ezine in either text or HTML format, text is more easily read by most ISPs and web email programs. To the publisher of an ezine, the ezine itself almost becomes an *art form*, most serious publishers are constantly improving the look and content of their ezine.
So why would you want to start an ezine or newsletter?
Because an ezine is quite simply the *ultimate* sales machine, the possibilities of creating multiple income streams with an ezine are...
Create a quality ezine and offer an easy way to subscribe from your web site or directly from an ad, enabling you to collect email addresses for your very own Opt In Email list.
You can offer your own products and services within the content of the ezines, thus keeping your business in the minds of your reader (statistics show that people need to see your ad *7* times before they will buy).
If you belong to any affiliate programs, you can promote them in your ezine or newsletter.
If you are able to write your own article and include it in your ezine, you will fast become considered an expert in your field.
Once you have over 1500 subscribers you can offer advertising space to other web sites, the going rate for paid ezine advertising is approximately $5 per 1000 subscribers, depending on the quality of your ezine or newsletter. If you have 3000 subscribers you can charge $15 per ad published and even more for a *Top Sponsor Ad* (this is an ad that is placed at the very beginning of your ezine, it is your duty to the advertiser to make this advert stand out above the rest).
You can offer to do Ad Swaps with other ezine publishers, who have roughly the same number of subscribers as you, this will give you even more exposure for your products.
You could offer a *Solo Ad*, this is simply an Ad that goes out alone to your list of subscribers, the rates for this are quite high depending on your subscriber base, target market etc.
One thing to remember if you are going to consider offering a solo ad to advertisers, DO NOT get too greedy, it is quite possible to charge $60 and above for one ad, but please limit yourself to accepting only 1 or 2 ads per week to be fair to your subscribers. To bombard them with solo ads every day is not only unfair it will result in a load of *Unsubscribes*
I hope this has got your interest in publishing your own Ezine growing. Over the next few weeks I will be covering each of the above points in more details including *How and where to promote your ezine to increase your subscriber base*
NB. Do not worry if you cannot write an article, I will also be covering *How to publish your own Ezine, WITHOUT having to write your own articles and still become successful as an ezine publisher*
What do I Include In My Ezine?
If you have been following this article on Ezine publishing you will know that I recommend publishing your own Ezine as the *ultimate* income generator.
The individual layout of an ezine is down to personal preference, however here is a guideline of what you can include in your ezine.
Start with a personal welcome message, for publishers that do not write their own articles, let your personality show in this section and try to include a snippet of valuable information in this part - you could also incorporate your web site and product news in this welcome message.
List of Contents - Always include a list of contents showing the titles of any articles that are included in this publication.
Top Sponsor Ad - This can be placed either before or after the list of contents.
Guest Article - make sure you include a personal introduction to the author of this article. Check all guest articles for obvious spelling mistakes and for quality content. Do not publish an article that has no relevance to the content of your ezine or that has no benefit to your readers. If you personally enjoyed reading the article then include it, if you hated the article then think again before publishing it in your ezine.
Middle Sponsor Ad.
Classified ads - add these throughout your ezine, keep them well away from the Top Sponsor Ad and it is a good idea not to place them at the very bottom of your ezine. You need the advertisers to obtain good results, so that they will advertise with you again. Do not include too many classified ads - NEVER no more than 10 in each issue and aim for less if possible.
Now you can focus on including a personal recommendation for either your own product/service or that of an affiliate program. If it is a product/service you are selling as an affiliate, then use the personal recommendation style of review (always works best) if you are reviewing your own product/service then concentrate on listing the benefits to your readers for purchasing this product. What need in them does it fulfill etc......
If you are writing articles for your own ezine then you can place it here or swap with the Guest article.
Finally finish off your ezine with a short list of interesting sites or a few snippets of info or wisdom you have found in your travels surfing the net.
Always, always include removal instructions and copyright notice.
And that is all there is to it............
