One thing is for sure, there is a recession going on. Business is slow for most entrepreneurs, and businesses on and off line. And where do you go from here?
Sure, you can go on and stop doing business for the time being. Taking the holiday you didn't had the time to take earlier this year. Or you can do some brainstorming and research for a new product. Until customers will start spending again.
But there are people entirely dependant on there business in order to pay their monthly bills. These people cannot afford to stop doing business. They need their income more than ever.
Keep promoting, keep advertising! Do it more aggressively than ever before. Take a new look at your product or service. See what you can change in order to make it more desirable to the public.
Running a business means that you have some good times, and also some bad times. Learn from what didn't work. Make the necessary changes, and keep moving further. Don't stop!
Your web site needs visitors, sales, or subscribers. Whatever you do - make your web site seen. With no promotion or advertising who will know about your product or service? No one!
Sure, lots is written about the different promotional methods. Their benefits, and the cons. What you should use for your promotions is as many methods as you can afford with money and time. Some have more money, and others do have more time.
Use what you have. Learn how to barter your service or product if you have only time, and not the money. Track your results and don't get discouraged if they are not as good as hoped.
Remember that the recession is real. And because of it very few are spending like before. This fact should not stop you though! In these bad times you have much more chances with your online business than you had in good times!
Lots of people are loosing their jobs. Right now is your chance! Many of them are looking for a way to turn their chances and get back on their feet. They are looking for new opportunities! For a way to get started again, and if possible working from their own homes.
Show them what you have to offer. Present it in the best possible way you can. Forget the hype. No one believes in it any longer. Plus, if you do not provide what you promise you're going to get lots of charge backs.
Treat your customers the right way. Treat them as you would like to be treated yourself. Give them more than they pay you for. This way you'll make repeated customers. they'll trust you.
And TRUST is everything! You have to trust yourself. You have to believe in your business, in your ability to run it successfully no matter what, no matter the hard times.
Have trust, believe in what you are doing and go on with your business!
