What makes you unique?

So many people ask this but I really mean it. What makes you unique? What makes you unique is always the answer to what makes your business unique. What you see as weakness are often the gifts that you bring to the world. When we start a business, particularly a coaching practice we look at the norm and start from there, we set our practice up like all the others. Whether this takes account of our strengths, weaknesses or not- then we wondered what the frustration is about. I challenge you to look at your uniqueness before your business because in this industry you are your business. I
Challenge you to look at the dark places, what you may consider your weaknesses are and see what gifts you bring. I speak from the heart, having many dark places and too many push and pull me things that I thought it were impossible. Let me give you some insights. When I took Highlands my idea productivity was off the chart. You might think this is good, however this was linked with a usual combination which meant for me that I had to see concrete results and sometimes found ideas difficult to deal with – disaster struck! However on deeper reflection this turned into a great gift and a true uniqueness. I would have to be a coach that sold products! There are a few out there but not many, as this combination is very unusual on the coaching profession, so I had found one of my many uniquenesses. I stopped beating myself up for having so many ideas and not finishing all of them, I started to produce the ideas that I feel most attached to and gave the others away in the form of “Business Development Coach”. I have many other gifts that I have found in dark places and I can say it to be true when we explore these places with a torch, when we embrace our perceived weaknesses, find our true uniqueness. And when we have made peace with this, built our coaching practice from there, how can anyone resist us? We attract exactly what we deserve, the very best.
