But my idea is to make memoir videos instead of memorial videos. The difference is the subject of the video is still alive when the video is done, and is an active participant. These videos will sell much easier because the customer doesnt have to do much work at all. With a memorial video they have to gather dozens and dozens of photos, and people are natural procrastinators.

Think about it. Do you have video of your elderly parents or grandparents. What kind of video is it? If your video is like most of ours, Grandma and Grandpa are just sitting on the porch starring at the camera.

Despite what most people think, these unique individuals would love to tell their story. They might not be too crazy about telling it to a camera, but if its done with someone interviewing them, I am sure that most would be proud to have their history in this life recorded.

Keep in mind, Im not telling you start your own video taping business. Youre a writer. Im going to show you how to make really good money writing a homemade booklet or E-book that teaches people that are interested in starting a home based business how to do so.

How valuable do you think a video such as this would be to an elderly persons children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren? And once a person did one, the referrals that they would get would be incredible. Especially if the video is really well done. You could suggest to your reader that they insert sections of still pictures with background music in between the interview.

You could add sections to your booklet or E-book that would show your reader how to create additional profit centers within their little home based business.

For instance you could recommend that while they are there doing the interview, they could snap a few photographs of Grandma and Grandpa with a 35 millimeter camera and offer the family members enlargements. This could really boost the profit of each job.

By just taking the subject outside on the patio, they could actually snap some priceless photos. Candid, casual photos of grandparents are special. Imagine Grandma planting a great big kiss on Grandpas cheek. Priceless! A person does not have to have photography skills anywhere near expert level to get really good photos. Especially of elderly people just being themselves. Most families have so few good photos of Grandma and Grandpa.

As you are writing add a section to your booklet or E-book about taking and selling photos of the family pet. Pet owners are fanatical about their pets. They love them like a family member and would love to have a beautiful photo of them for the wall.

Now Im not suggesting that you recommend selling these photos to Grandma Grandpa on their fixed income. Suggest that your readers sell the pet photos to the children of Grandma and Grandpa, and they can give them to their parents as gifts.

Another profit center you could recommend to your readers is a website where they could create a page for each family they photograph and video tape. Family members could visit the website to view the photos, and order photos if they like. Suggest they mail a post card to each family member with the URL of the webpage. Leave the page up for several months and mail to them several times. They can make their selection, and order the photos right from the website.

Are the wheels turning? They should be.
