Remember Childhood Lessons To Improve Your Chances For Success

Do you remember who taught you how to ride a bicycle? Who taught you how to tie your shoelaces? Who taught you how to cook or sew? If you learned to drive with a manual transmission, who showed you how to work the clutch and shift gears? These may sound like silly questions, but I want you to think about the people who taught you how to do the things you have learned in your life.

I know you must be wondering what this has to do with improving your chance for success. This article is about being successful with anything in general, and more specifically, being successful in network marketing (MLM).

By now, you should be thinking about who taught you to do any/all of the things listed above. If they taught you the right way to do something, they had to know how to do it themselves. I hope you are starting to see where I am headed with this. You learned to do things from somebody who already knew how to do it.

Well then, why do we listen to people tell us this and that about a business opportunity and how to be successful when they havent been successful? These people might mean well, but their opinion really shouldnt count unless they have the experience and/or the expertise to back it up.

Dont pay any attention to those who say it cant be done. Some people dont understand how to do it, while others might try to discourage you because they are jealous of your dreams. Listen to the person who has reached a goal you want to reach and decide if the method they used will work for you.

A mentor, somebody who has already reached a certain level of success, can help you get on the right track. The old expression of the blind leading the blind could happen to you if you follow the advice of someone who has no idea how to do something right.

Desire and determination are important, but you also need a plan you can follow to reach your goal. If youre on your own, it may be hard to find what works best without spending lots of time and effort. Thats why its so important in MLM to have good ways to promote and sponsor, known as replication or duplication, that are available to be copied/used by everybody in that opportunity.

To be successful, you need to believe in yourself and what you are doing. You also need to firmly believe that your dreams will become your reality. And, to improve your chances of becoming successful, you should pay close attention to somebody who has been there and done that.
