The Giant in all of us

Many of the Ezines and email messages we get each day include some sort of motivational or positive thinking ideas that can spark us into action when we need it the most. It is crucial for us as self employed entrepreneurs to surround ourselves with the necessary tools that ignite our enthusiasm for what we do. Without them, we may sometimes lose sight of what we want and how to get it. It all starts with looking within ourselves.

Norman Vincent Peale writes "There is a giant in every person, and nothing can get this giant down unless that giant is kept down by himself." This comes from his "Positive Thinking Every Day", an inspiration for Each Day of the Year on February 25th. How do YOU keep that GIANT of yours up and running each day?

Start by surrounding yourself with books like this one. Make a special place for them to be accessed easily and on a regular basis. Subscribe to Ezines and other publications that include lots of positive information.

Next, LOOK WITHIN your own list of WHY you started this business in the first place. That should trigger your enthusiasm once more. Then, turn to those reasons to get your motivation going again. If one reason was to provide information about a certain subject, then start researching it. If your reason was to help others succeed, then email or call someone in your data base and offer assistance.

Let that giant within you emerge by taking control of your surroundings. Go back to those basic tasks that kept you motivated to be persistent and never quit. Recall those feelings you had when you got your first sale or your first subscribers.

There are seven essential elements to be successful in business. One of them is "motivation". You must learn to keep yourself motivated so that you can promote your business to motivate your readers into action. Think of yourself as a GIANT in all you do and you will be successful.
