How Do You REALLY Know YOUR Marketing Ideas Will Work?

Quick Quiz:If you want to KNOW whether or not an idea you have as an approach to marketing your offers is going to work, what do you do?
Find a public message board and post your question, "Will this work?"
Find someone who has already tried your idea and follow his or her advice?
Try it out yourself, see how well it does and track the response it brings you? There's only ONE right answer here, and I'm sorry to say, but if you picked anything BUT option 3, here's your pink-slip from marketing because you're not going to go very far.
Blunt, I know, but I say this not to discourage you, rather to correct any assumptions you may have when it comes to promoting your goods or services - anywhere!
The ONLY sure-fire method of understanding whether or not your ideas will succeed, to KNOW - to KNOW FOR SURE - is to test your ideas, promotions, and anything else you have in mind as an approach to marketing your offers - YOURSELF.
Why do you suppose that NONE of the "big name" marketers are out there posting to the message boards asking whether or not their ideas will work? Is it because they don't have a lot of time to spare? Partly. But here's the real reason ...
The marketers you read or hear about who are making the "real money" aren't out there asking for YOUR opinion in message boards because they could care less about third party opinions on the subject (and you MUST note, that's all you'll be receiving - opinions).
What these marketers are after, as YOU should be, is scientific proof and a definite answer - yes this works, or no it does not, judged, not by what you SAY, but by what you DO.
This Is A Fact That YOU Can Bank On:
The only true method of discovering the true and definite answer is NOT to ask whether or not someone WILL - it's to put your target market through the ACTUAL TEST and watch how they react.
Much like a rat in a lab, you'll be putting your prospects through the hoops, watching, studying and recording how they react, whether or not they jump or duck, how fast they're heart beats - everything you can think of.
Why?
Because YOU want to know. And that truly is how you find out. No book, course or teacher can tell you what your prospects will do. Only your prospects can do that. And to scientifically discover that truth, you must not take people's word on whether or not they would, but to put them through the test and see if they WILL.
The Point: DON'T ask whether or not something will work - that's a waste of time and will bring you nothing but opinion - TEST your ideas and see for YOURSELF whether or not your prospects WILL, or WON'T. It is only then you will KNOW whether or not your idea HAS worked.
