Marketing Full Circle: "The Formula"

My first intention was to bring MLM (multi-level marketing) to the Internet. At that time very few MLMers were doing anything on-line. I thought that the first few people that mastered MLM on-line would make a fortune. My thinking was I could start a whole new downline anywhere on Earth and they would build downlines of their own all under me.

What I didn't understand is just how few people actually had Internet access at that time. The Internet was starting to grow exponentially, but the average person either had no internet access at all or belonged to compuserve, or AOL, and later MSN. They all charged by the hour for Internet access.

After a few months struggling and paying huge long distance bill communicating with my various downline teammates I realized that this was going to take a little more time.

I had been a mountain climber for a long enough time to understand that sometimes the indirect route was the safest and many times the easiest even though I might need to first go downhill first to get to get to the top.

"What I need" I told my wife "is a formula. "All I have to do is bring "X" number of people to my website." If only one visitor in 100 buys something I'll have the makings of a formula. Once I have it reduced to a formula all I would need to do os purchase more traffic through advertising and through monthly emailings."

I have worked for three years trying to find that magic formula but it was almost repeatable. My earnings ran wildly up and down. On a good month I was sure that I had arrived only to have a dead month to follow .

About a year ago the experts started coming out of the woodwork. Each one with a fool proof system. All this did was confuse me. By this time I was pretty sure there was no formula possible. If there was one it must be so complex to handle all the variables.

Sometimes things so simple that you can't see the forest for the trees.

I attempted to open my mind in order to create a vacuum to be filled with the current marketing system. I had all the right information, I just didn't put it all together constantly.

Recently I have discovered why I have two ears and only one mouth.

I have been looking at some of the marketing systems available. I discussed my favorites last week. I set up a page with reviews, There are several that are 100% free.

My thinking generally is to start with the free resources until you earn enough to get the professional resources using your own profits.

Now I feel I have gone full circle. After three years I have found a system that is also a formula. And the formula works.

I have discovered a whole new income stream in the last 10 days using one tip about re-using work I have already completed. That's residual income. It works and anyone can do it.
