Working Hard for No Gain?

Its inevitable. Those of us involved in the sales of online products, services, or opportunities do hit a dry spell every now and then, regardless of how hard were working our businesses at the time. There will always come a day, or week, or (heaven forbid!) month where all we seem to be doing is spinning our wheels, going nowhere fast. Or so it seems...
If youre experiencing a situation like that right now, sit back for a moment and take a deep breath. Really. Right now. Just do it. Breathe out all the pressure youre under and all the frustration you feel. Dont worry. Help is on the way. :-)
Okay... thats better. Now youre in a position to take an unbiased look at whats REALLY going on. Ask yourself a few questions to gain a bit of that clarity....
Are you really stuck, or does it just feel that way?
Regardless of whether youve currently got new sales or members coming in, if you look "below the surface,"you may just find that youve been building the
foundation to your next level of personal sales or membership mastery!
1. What new resources have you been using lately?
2. What new types of advertising have you been
doing?
3. What new systems have you recently put into place that havent necessarily run long enough for you to see their overall END results?
You see, you probably havent just been spinning your wheels! Your next level of mastery is close at hand. You are right now breaking free from past patterns into
expanded territory where the rules are somewhat different. Youre simply learning to navigate this new level in the most productive way for YOU! So dont give up - break
through is right around the corner!
Take another deep breath, RELAX, and patiently let the wheels already in motion continue to turn. Simply add some little twists and turns along the way to remain fresh and exciting continuously.
If you didnt answer any of the above questions affirmatively, feeling stuck may not be an illusion for you. No worries - theres still a way out! Make it your goal to put some pizzazz back into your business to get increased sales and/or more members.
Take a new look at numbers 1 through 3 again, and make a vow to yourself to choose at least one to implement every week or so. Then watch your sales and/or memberships take off again!
1. New Resources
-What valuable and free gifts can you give to customers who purchase to spruce of your own offer?
-What tools or other directly related items could you pack along with your offer to make it even more of a value?
-Ezines are a great resouce tool for YOU in and of themselves! What type of ezines might you want to subscribe to in order to learn about and obtain a steady supply of new resources?
2. New Advertising
-Use your ezine sources to keep your eyes peeled for new and unique ways and forms of advertising.
-Use your favorite search engine and go surfing for new ideas. The advertising sources to test are endless and many of them are free (free advertising is usually time-intensive, so be prepared to spend at least 1-2 hours per day with it!).
-When using any kind of advertising, test new and crazy headlines and ads for you product or service to pack more of a punch into your response statistics.
3. New Systems
Every well known guru has a system. There are tons of ebooks available to teach you big name marketing, and many of them are now free. Vow to read just one
ebook this month and implement one new strategy of your own based on what you learned. Then add to it next month by doing the same thing!
Working hard for no gain certainly may be an illusion, in that you just havent "experienced" the harvest of the fruits of your labors yet (fruit takes time and tending to grow fat, juicey, and delicious!). Whether thats the case for you or not, theres always something simple that you can change or add to what youre already
doing that will create a different experience.
All it takes is "YOU." Failure only comes when you quit. Hang in there!
