YOU may love the thing you are selling. But are there many other people that want it? Sure, your spouse and friends may see the wisdom of your product or service, but how many people outside your immediate circle understand the value of what you are selling?
Sometimes the number of people who really want what you sell can be too small or too hard to reach to make you any money. Other times there are lots of people who could use your innovative product, but nobody knows about it...AND (this is the key) it costs way too much to buy all the advertising it would take to educate a mass of people about the product.
