Youre going to do whatT???

As I searched the web this week and participated in several forums across the web, I saw a disturbing trend developing.

We have a whole new breed of marketers coming on board. They have become so use to the internet and the instant product that they are demanding instant success also.

So to finish the headline - YOU'RE GOING TO DO WHAT?? GIVE UP!!! -

Well as you know, my site is geared to the beginning marketer and I take that attitude personal since I spend so much time trying to help and furnishing products that will allow someone to just be able to click into my site and hundreds of others and just start clicking and in a matter of hours, have products to market, know where to market them and how to market them - where to list - what mistakes not to make and on and on and on.

There is no reason to GIVE UP! - I hung in there with no one to show me the way - and I am not known for my patience. But it is possible to hang in there and reach a level of success that will give you the incentive to keep on keeping on.

I relate reaching out with our little Doxie puppie. He lived in the weeds for 8 months with us trying to catch him - he was so full of fear because he had been so abused that he would not let anyone near him.

I started putting the food out for him, first in the drainage ditch so the seagulls would not get it, (this is the first snag of getting caught up in the internet marketing game) then every two days I would move it up about 3 feet - (this is the second snag of digging deeper into the marketing game) he was filled with fear (as you are when you reach out to trust someone selling you a product) and you could see him eating with every muscle posed to jump at the slightest movement. (just as you do when you wonder if you have just been sold a bunch of hype)

Finally inch by inch he moved up to the porch to eat. (Just as you move out when you find a product you are comfortable with.) My little doxie let his guard down just long enough to be caught. (this is you realizing that not all the information is hype - there is some sincerity out there)

Our little Scooter is now safe and happy, although still fearful - which will never go away, but he is reaping the rewards of reaching out and trusting an inch at a time.

Just as you reach out and trust an inch at a time - with each inch - you feel the safety and security of the knowledge that you are absorbing and no one can take that away from you.

Just as it took this little puppy 8 months to achieve the level of trust to stay by my side - it will take you months to achieve the level of trust that you will need to stand alone in this game of internet marketing.

Grab on to the security of those hands reaching out to help you - have faith and trust in the fact that someone has been down this path before you and has parted the weeds for you and made your path straighter and safer.

Just as my little Scooter will never leave the side of the hands that made him safe and secure - you will establish that kind of trust in the people who help you and then you can turn around and offer that helping hand to another scared marketer hiding in the weeds.

Set their little morsel of information in front of them and inch by inch move them ahead in their marketing until they are safe and secure and then can offer their hand to another scared marketer and on and on it goes.

This road is not traveled alone - you might make it alone, but you will miss out on the enjoyment of helping others just as you have been helped.
