Unanswered questions that people ask themselves

When looking into an opportunity to become involved with, people often have several questions they ask themselves. This article is about writing a follow-up letter that deals with the five most commonly asked questions.
The content of the letter being described in this article is based upon an idea presented by John Kalench in his book BEING THE BEST YOU CAN BE IN MLM. That idea is that there are five main questions that people ask themselves when considering whether or not to get involved with network marketing or with a particular network marketing business in general.
These five most common questions are as follows:
1) Is this business simple?
2) Can I have fun doing it?
3) Can I make money doing it?
4) Will they help me to do it? and,
5) Is the timing perfect for me to get involved now?
The content of the letter is to simply go through these questions and help the prospect answer all of them. These are quite different questions than are asked in other follow letters.
Question number one is this: Is this business simple? The answer to this question can be a very generic statement that covers and applies to all network marketing businesses. Simply in your own words state that network marketing is one of the most simple businesses in existence. Make a statement comparing the amount of money and time needed to participate in network marketing as compared to other types of businesses. The amount of money needed is relatively small and many people do quite well putting only 10 to 15 hours per week into their network marketing ventures.
The next question is: Can I have fun doing it? Yes, network marketing can be fun. It can improve both your social and writing abilities and therefore lead to a more enjoyable lifestyle. Also, you may find use of the products or services or the actual selling of them fun. If the previous examples apply to you and the network marketing company that you are representing certainly work these ideas into your letter also.
The third question to answer for the prospect in this letter is: Can I make money doing it? This question is the most easy to answer for the prospect if you are already making money in the network marketing company. You may describe how every dealer who joins is a customer or a potential customer and how this can add to potential income. Be careful not to make any guarantee of specific income, as doing so is an illegal practice according to the USPS and attorneys.
Question number four, of course is: Will they help me to do it? This answer of course is dependent upon the type of support your upline, the network marketing company and yourself will give and are willing to give to the prospect if they join. Does the company provide sponsoring and / or training videos, lead boxes, etc.? Does the company, your upline and / or yourself provide promotional materials, co-op advertising, monthly news-letters or other educational materials to dealers or representatives? If so, this is information you need to provide in order to answer this question. A person who may have looked into other network marketing opportunities will be happy to find support offered.
The next and the last question of the five questions that people supposedly ask themselves when considering network marketing is this: Is the timing perfect for me to get involved now? The answer to this question is simple. If someone has ever dreamed of having their own business with quality products then it's time to do so. Because, the amount of money needed to start is small, then why not start now to get the benefits of having your own business?
If you have written other follow-up letters and the ideas I suggest to write this one seem repetitious it is these items that need to be stressed over and over again because they are often the items that will eventually get a prospect to sign up as a dealer. And that my fellow network marketers is what a great deal of this business is about.
