This is the sort of feed back everyone needs. To know that an article presented in your Ezine can change negativity to positivity. Building a website is the next step in Marketing and promotion from one to one contact, and it puts you in the next league. Did you know, of the worlds population, only 0.16% is at this stage today. Read on ... this email and reply might help YOU to get there too.
What follows is the original email sent to me, and my reply. The instructions were to be a VERY basic guide to be able to work on, BUT to others looking this over please note that with web editing software such as FrontPage, Dreamweaver etc... they usually come with Manuals... it is usual for potential web developers never to open these... I advise OPENING them and actually reading them... it really does help. From these you will be able to develop a web presence, and usually be advised on how to increase your new skills.
Good Luck, hope this helps

Your news article is wonder. It has changed my mind as follows. I am seriously searching some position which can be done with my computer at home basis.
I thought that there is not need to make web sites for this before reading of your article. Now, I have decided to have a web site for my profile. I have some experience in HTML. But I have much experience in Data Entry/Programming.
If you have time, please explain the steps to be followed for creating web site. Please note that it is not urgent. As and when you find time please help me.
Thanks a lot.
Yours friendly

Dear Prabhakaran,
Thank you for that compliment, it is easy to build a web site providing you have the right software, for example one of the most common is FrontPage, there is a cost and is found at most computer software shops, it is quite easy to use and is a Microsoft product so is user friendly to most commercial packages.
You would open up FrontPage and create a 'New" page..... new_page.htm once saved will be a web page ready to upload to a 'server', at a web hosting company like ours... M6.net - http://www.m6.net
You can drag and drop pictures and text into it or work in html, and even use more advanced programming such as YOU would probably know of.... such as coding to make dynamic pages... i.e. ASP, Visual Basic, and DHTML.
Once you have read the manuals, experimented, and come up with something.... you can create another and another.... Store these pages together in a folder on your desktop or away, in another drive easily available. Store the images (Gifs and Jpgs etc) in the same folder for now.
The 'home page' of your site is usually renamed to "default.htm" and the other pages will be linked to, from this one (and maybe from each other back to this page and to each other), you need to work this out on a plan first.
Once you have the pages designed as you wish and the content and pictures in place.... you will have a folder of web pages and images, NOT up on the web YET. You will have to put them up on the server using a software called FTP Editor (free from Microsoft and from our Hosting site) or a similar software from someone else.
You then apply for a 'web hosting' account, something small.... like an M6-1 at M6.net - http://www.m6.net/accounts.asp which would be US$10.00 per month... deducted automatically by Credit card each month.
Once you have applied you will get chance to choose a 'password' and 'login ID' and you will be given an "IP address" to use in your new FTP software, which you can download for free from http://www.m6.net/wdsl.asp
The FTP software, when you start for the first time, will ask you for info such as:
DOMAIN NAME - This you get from network Solutions - http://www.networksolutions.com - they sell you your OWN domain name, for example: www.manojbabu.com
IP ADDRESS - leant to you by M6.net
PASSWORD - provided by you
LOGIN ID - provided by you
You now have the means to place items on the Internet. Using this you create a "folder" the name of your website or Domain. Then in THAT folder you place your WEB PAGES, and create ANOTHER folder called "Images". (Spell it right, this is CRUCIAL).
You then place ALL of your Images into that folder. You now have the images and the web pages ONLINE, on the Internet, on the Web, etc.
This means that if you go to your browser, type in for example http://www.manojbabu.com/default.htm you will go to your Home page (called default.htm) and (look on your menu bar, you will see the ICON for FrontPage) using FrontPage again you will be able to EDIT this page... and link up new images and the other pages anytime... remembering to keep your files in an accessible place on your computer.
That is about it.... any other information you will have to learn from the FrontPage manual. It takes time to learn these things and unfortunately we cant provide the tuition, most people who came to us have this amount of knowledge or much more..... I hope this will come easy to you... as it is the ONLY way for business to go... on the Internet.
Hope this is understandable to you, if it is and you build your website successfully let me know the link... I can write an article on the whole thing and PROMOTE your site with it.
Good luck Prabhakaran
Yours most sincerely
