Adswapping your business into the Search Engines

You have established your business on the world wide web. You write up your plan of action, your business plan, your short term goals, your long term goals and your "skies the limit" long term goals. You create your niche market and the theme of your business. You create your corporate website and optimize it for the search engines, choosing purposeful key words in the title tag, the meta tags, and in the body of your HTML code. You create your domain name based on your niche market. You advertise your in offline inprint publications and online advertising resources. You think to yourself, "I have done everything possible to build my business, but how do I get my corporate website listed in the major search engines?"

There are many factors that determine what placement your website will have in the search engines. Do your research to see what key words your competitors are using on their websites and use better key words. Optimize many doorway pages targeting different sets of key words. Make sure that you use advanced meta tags like can be found at my website: http://ca.internations.net/biz/mdgrant . After you are sure that your corporate website and all your doorway pages are optimized to their full potential, there is still another factor that the search engines take into consideration: LINK POPULARITY!

What you need to do is to network with other Internet Marketers who market similar products or services that you market. You can either do reciprocal links on each others websites, or create your own Ezine and swap ads with other Ezine editors. You could write articles with your business information in the byline resource box at the end of your articles and have Ezine editors publish your articles in their publications.

What benefit will this do for your business? First, you will be widening your marketing reach further than you could marketing yourself. You will have links to your business delivered to thousands, perhaps millions of targeted qualified prospects. It gets better. Some of those prospects will buy some of your products or services. Some may even post links to some of your products or services on their websites because they find them so valuable. The largest benefit is if some editors post your ads or articles to their archives. Your business products or services will be indexed in the major search engines. The more links you have listed in the search engines, the higher your LINK POPULARITY, the higher your ranking in the search engines.

I began adswapping almost right from the beginning, and soon found out that by adswapping, not only was I receiving short term benefits but long term benefits as well. The more I swapped ads, the more links were being indexed in the search engines. I was slowly but surely branding my Ezine name in the search engines, with Ezine editors, and all the subscribers of those Ezines. There are still Ezine editors who keep their eyes on the numbers; how many subscribers will the ads or articles go to? The real benefit is building relationships with Internet Marketers targeted to your products or services, and having them put your links on their websites to be indexed by the search engines. Permanent links listed in the search engines never cease to send you traffic, leads, customers, referrals, and money.
