How to Increase Traffic to your Site at Zero Cost

Traffic is the key to success on the Internet. If your site produces traffic, you can make money from the web. A recent study indicated that as many as 95% of all Internet sites lose money. The main reason these sites lose money is they have little or no traffic. However, many people believe that they must spend an enormous amount of money to increase traffic to their site, this is simply not true.

The secret to increasing traffic at zero cost are free homepages. These are sites that provide you with free disk space and permit your to create a free homepage on almost any subject. Here is a brief list of sites that provide disk space to create a free homepage:

Here are the steps to increase traffic at zero cost.

#1: Set up an account with several free homepage providers.

#2: Create a one page site with each of the free homepage providers. On each free site provide information about your company. The information provided on your free site can be an article or an overview of the products and services offered by you. Once you have created this site, place links from your free site (freebie) to your company site (income site). Beware, some free homepage providers do not permit links to commercial sites outside of their systems. Make sure the sites you sign up for allow links to outside commercial sites.

#3: Register your freebie sites with as many search engines as possible. By creating dozens of pages on the Internet and directing links to your income site you are funneling all traffic from you freebie sites to the site that makes you money. For example, suppose you have one site on the Internet with 200 visitors per day. Now by following this strategy, suppose you have 10 sites, each funneling a mere 20 additional visitors to your income site per day, that is 400 visitors per day. (the 200 original visitors plus 10 sites x 20 funneled visitors = 200 more hits) An increase of 100% at no additional cost to you.

#4: Link all of your sites together to create your own web ring. Once you have this web ring set up, get the word out on your ring. The benefit to creating a ring of your own sites it that when people link to your site and ask how many pages are in your current ring you can honestly tell them you have X number of sites. It just happens that 90% of the sites where created by you.

By following these 4 steps, you will increase the amount of traffic to your income site at zero cost.
