Climbing the Mountain in Marketing
Category: ZeLatest | Date: 2001-02-17 |
Do you feel as if you are always climbing a mountain with your marketing?
Always struggling for that extra hit in hopes this one will make a purchase.
Writing one ad after another, hoping this is the one that is going to get noticed and bring us a lot of hits and purchasers.
Up before dawn looking at all your email messages, looking for those all important ones that say you have made a sale.
Continually making changes to your web pages, in hopes this new sales letter will cause people to want to purchase from us.
Pounding keys twelve hours a day with high hopes that finally we have a steady income and we can slack off a little.
Spending so many hours every day working with your computer, that you have neglected that gutter that is falling off the house, or that door that has swelled and will hardly shut.
Forgot that we used to play golf once a week, clubs are in the garage rusting. Just dont have time anymore to help with shopping or carrying out the garbage.
Dont have time for family gatherings or birthday parties. The family has given up on you and now days just stays away because you are always busy promoting your web site.
Spending restless nights trying to sleep but just cant get your mind to shut down long enough for you to sleep. You know if you keep thinking you will think of what has been missing in your marketing plan.
If this sounds like you or maybe your spouse, you are amongst millions of others, that are doing the exact same thing. If this definition fits you, you should back off and take a few hours each day for a little rest.
You will find your family will be happier for it, and you will notice, that your marketing plan is doing just as good, or maybe even a little better.
A fresh mind can do great things.
Dont keep climbing the mountain, with your marketing its time to start coasting down the other side.
