I just customized my journal with a premade layout. In the comments line, it just says "comment". How can I add "read" with the number of comments to this?? It is like this on my page and my friend's page. Any help is appreciated!!

In Firefox, this works properly. In IE 6, on the other hand, the layout is broken.
The second-to-last row, which spans the full 11 columns, has a large graphic elemenet in it. That element seems to be pushing out the right-side element above it (spanning all other rows except the last two). That element is set to a 99% width so it fills the remainder of the window - but in IE, it seems to expand even more and cause horizontal scrolling.
Again, in Firefox, this looks proper.

Hi all,
I have a Yankees Blog from blogger.com, and I've been pretty successful as far as modifications go. My problem is that the blog looks different in Firefox and IE. In firefox everything looks correct, but when I open it in IE everything in my "sidebar" overlaps and becomes "smooshed".
I have checked all my tags and everything appears to be in good shape (no unclosed tags, plenty of breaks...)
If someone could take a look and see what the problem is, I would really appreciate it. I am getting ready to throw my computer out the window.....

Easier web site building?

I am building a web page for a small tile company. However, I am trying to make it as easy for them to update as possible once I am finished. Anyway, in the gallery, each page's name is a letter followed by a number. The letter indicates a specific room/job and the number represents the specific picture. For example, if A1 is a picture of a bathroom, A2 is another picture in the same bathroom while B1 would be a kitchen or different room altogether. I want to make it so my client can copy the html from one page into a new page and switch the picture without having to change the "previous gallery" "previous picture" "next picture" "next gallery" because they will automatically know what should be the next or previous logical link. Is this possible?

Couple quick questions...

So my computer got fried basically and I lost everything. My question is can somebody tell me what a good place for a graphic program downloads is? Also what are easiest to use. I tried Photoshop 7.0 but it was too complicated. Is there anything easier? Also where is a good place to find fonts? And last but most important is... what, if any, size do I need to start off with when I'm designing a background for my lj? I'm pretty sure I need to have a specific template size but I just can't remember what it is. Thanks so much in advance.

Ergh. I was hoping that I could use this layout for the Neodrabble community @ Livejournal, based on THIS LAYOUT (You have to be a member of!['[info]']('http://stat.livejournal.com/img/community.gif')

Now, I can't for the life of me get it to work. I tried everything, but the images don't show up, the right sidebar won't show up, and, basically, the livejournal codes kill my brain.
So, is there anyone who can figure this out for me? I'm at the verge of tears here. ;___;

Source Issues

When I go into Source mode in Rich Text,
I try to put the cursor in a different spot, then about 2 seconds after I click, the cursor automatically goes back to the very beginning of the text.
Help? Anyone? It's stopping me from changing HTML and it's really bugging me. Help is appreciated.

Okay, well I am just now getting the hang of this CSS stuff, and I started making myself a semi-custom profile. But all of a sudden, my page stopped displaying my changes... It was working a few minutes ago.. I don't know what all to tell you to get your help, but uh.... Help if you know what's wrong!!!

Putting Your Own Templates On A Website

Alright, I've volunteered to make / maintain my church's website, and it turns out that I know absolutely nothing about doing this.
I've downloaded a template from Boxed Art and I've also downloaded a program (SEEdit) to view the template, because I couldn't open the .html files with TextEdit.
I don't know where to begin. My webhost (iPower) uses an application-like thing called vDeck (here's a screenshot of it), and I'm not sure how to go about installing these templates and putting them to use.

Help with layout needed

Hello, there! A little help here, please?
I'd like to introduce some small changes to my journal to make it more interesting. My current layout is too plain, because I'm not good at making overrides.
I would like to have two narrow columns - one to the left, and the other to the right of the main journal entries. These columns would countain some personal information (to the left) and links (to the right). I'd like their colours to be black, bright yellow or the shades of mauve.
It would also be nice if there was space to put in a little picture (icon) at the end of both columns. Additional features would also be welcome.
Other suggestions are welcome, too! Please, help me make my layout more attractive (even if your ideas are different from mine, I'd like to hear them, maybe I'd like your recommendations more!)
Here are my overrides:
My page layout style is Generator (for Most Recent Events, Friends View, Calendar), and Punquin Elegant w/ Sidebar for Day View (S1).

A little help would be most appreciated!

A couple of months ago, one of my webpages decided to stop showing any of the pictures, and I can't seem to get them to display properly anymore. I'm a bit stumped, because I'm pretty sure I haven't messed with the coding, though I might very well have without even knowing it. Hopefully, someone here can help me.
This is the page in question. It looks perfectly alright as local files on my computer, but as soon as I upload them, all the pictures go missing. Also, the coding of this page gets really screwed up. I'm fairly sure I never meant for half of that to be in Chinese.
I hope someone can tell me what it is I'm doing wrong.
Also, while I'm posting, is there any way to align text so it won't take all the space on the page like here, but will have a margin? It's not so bad on it's own, but it looks a bit hard to read when it's pressed up against the scrollbar in the frames on the page, especially in Firefox, since the code for changing the colours of the scrollbar doesn't work there like it does in IE.Source: http://community.livejournal.com/htmlhelp/2304945.html
