Proposal: Coalition Against Open Sores (CAOS) projects

Introduction
After 4 hours of struggling with the abomination named Mambo documentation (I wouldn't grace it with a link) I have to conclude that it is a pure-bred torture device. Please read their documentation to get a taste of horror if you are seriously masochistic.

Spreading some click-love… The future of free web
Date: 02/01/05

I have seen references in web-pages requesting visitors to show their appreciation or help by clicking on the advertiser's link. Such desperate methods are of questionable ethics as it provides unwanted clicks for the advertisers, who pays for them. On the other hand they help the site owner in...

“This site has nasty hidden script”
Date: 02/01/05
Keywords: asp, spam
Yesterday I found some (around 20) irrelevant medical ads in my spam-trap :)
Today I got a comment:
"This site has --expletive deleted-- nasty hidden script (which prevents me from spamming)" - wrote some exasperated kiddie-comment-spammer in his comments.
You bet!

How Groovy can get her groove back
Date: 01/30/05
Keywords: software
It looks like Groovy is in dire needs of a project manager.
One of the basic things we all learned along the way is that software is not about perfection. It is about delivering a good enough rock solid product on time. There is always version 2 to add more features. Nobody expects version 1 to [...]

Year of Reality Checks: Struts joins Dodo League with some inane comments; when will Groovy follow suit?
Date: 01/29/05

I am very annoyed when people decides to abuse some contextually correct phrase to try to justify something stupid.
We do offer Struts developers a choice, but, hey, choice is good. :)
People who want to create and maintain Struts Classic are welcome to do so.

Wondering if we could develop a GA based program to run 100+ Open Source CMS systems through paces and picks the best one, based on our provided criteria.
Wouldn't that be a cool thought?
As it stands I am confused on which one to pick [...]

For an AIDS patient in a poor country lucky enough to get antiretroviral treatment, chances are that the pills that stave off death come from India. Generic knockoffs of AIDS drugs made by Indian manufacturers - now treating patients in 200 countries - have brought the price of antiretroviral therapy down [...]
