Date: 11/06/06 (Computer Geeks) Keywords: no keywords Well.. SOMETHING happened to my computer and for whatever reason the MIDI driver on my comp is screwing up my ability to audio on my computer. Audacity crashes on startup, and n-Track doesn't let me record, and I think it all leads back to a corrupt MIDI driver or hardware. Is there anyway to disable this? Or is there another thign I should do? In the Sounds Preferences on my Machine (FYI, Win XP, AC'97 7.1 nVidia Motherboard SoundBlaster) it does not let me select the Windows Midi driver, or rather, it lets me SELECT it, but then I click Save and then I go back and it isn't saved. Is there anything I can do to remedy this? Anymore info you need I'm more than happy to provide. Thanks. Source: http://community.livejournal.com/computergeeks/997921.html
