I don't got the power

So, the AC adaptor for my lappy crapped out. Brick gets juice (LED lights up), but power does not get from there to back of lappy. Lappy gets power fine from loaner AC adaptor, so problem is in inner link of AC cord.

Question is, where to get an inexpensive replacement? Lappy is a 2002 Dell Latitude C610, so it's not really worth putting a lot more money into it. (For example, I refuse to replace the mostly dead onboard battery, because they're worth more than the machine is now.) I've found some nice-looking pricing, around $33 and up, but I'm not familiar with any of the vendors, so I don't know who to feel good about or not. The Dell stuff either comes from Dell or authorised dealers (OEM wares), or as aftermarket knockoffs (much cheaper). I don't want to pay the steel OEM rates. I would, however, be okay with paying a bit more for the slightly better one (PA9 instead of PA6), since that would also be compatible with the same-age Inspiron whose cord I'm borrowing right now.

    Advice?
