Backups

    I have about 2TB of files I need to back up. Most of them are already backed-up on to a huge stack of DVDs (photographs I've taken over the past five years, including RAW, PSD and JPG versions).

    I could go off and buy a 2TB RAID stack, but that's pretty expensive.

    Are tape drives still a viable backup solution? How long do the cartridges last? And how much can you store on one?
