I'm working on something for school and trying to find accurate info... can anyone tell me what the first actual Windows OS was? According to quite a few sources, 1.0 was technically an add-on for MS-DOS and not a complete OS. After that, I'm not finding anything that specifically says that "XXXX" was the first actual OS for Windows. Anyone out there have any input?
