Bad_Pool_Caller

For a few weeks now, every one in a while my computer will go to a blue screen with some white writing on it and it says something about "Bad_Pool_Caller". At the very bottom of this blue screen, it does some sort of count up to a numver of infected files. I am not sure though, as I try to start my computer ASAP after seeing the BSOD. Does anyone have any idea what that is and how to stop this from happening? If it makes a difference, I have XP Home. It seems to have started at about the same time I got a wireless router. If there are any details that you you need that I left out (probably so), just let me know.
