Drool, drool

I decided to go hawg wild, and price up a dream PC, real money-no-object stuff. The total cost is a hair over $7,500 but it seems to be worth every single penny.

    Super Micro SC742T-550 EATX case (7 hot-swap SATA bays, 3 5.25" bays, 1 3.5" bay, 550W PSU)
    Tyan Thunder K8W EATX Motherboard (Dual Opteron, 1 AGP 8x, 4 PCI-X, 1 PCI, ATA-133, SATA-150, GbE)
    Dual AMD Opteron 252
8GB Corsair PC3200 DDR DIMM Memory
Five x Seagate Barracuda ST3400832AS 400GB 7.2Krpm Hard Drive (in RAID 5, effective storage 1.6TB)
Two x Western Digital Raptor WD740GD 74GB 10Krpm Hard Drive (in RAID 1.5, effective storage 74GB)
    3ware Escalade 9500S-8 (8-port PCI-X SATA RAID Controller)
Optorite DD1603 Double Layer DVD+/-RW Writer
    Sony 3.5in 2HD Floppy Drive
    SIIG 9-in-1 USB 2.0 5.25"/3.5" Bay Card Reader/Writer
    eVGA GeForce 6800GT Video Card
NEC Diamond Pro 2070SB-BK 22" CRT Monitor
Logitech Elite Keyboard (Black) USB with PS/2 Adaptor
    Razer Diamondback Gaming Mouse
    Nostromo SpeedPad N52
Creative Labs Sound Blaster Audigy 4 Pro
Creative Gigaworks S750 7.1 Speaker System

Of course, getting this system is just a simple matter of saving up, so I should be able to get it within about 12 years or so.

Any input or suggestions? Any areas where my research is obviously weak?
