Video playback problems

For some reason, some of my video files/movies aren't playing the video. Just the audio.

Windows Media Player 10 (and all my other file players) is really failing on files that I know have video like some television shows that I've downloaded. I'm pretty sure I have all the latest codecs.

Any idea what I'm doing wrong? Is it something I need to fix in the Control Panel?

    (I use Windows XP)

    [EDIT:]
These files worked in the past. Something has changed recently.
I was hoping you guys might have some ideas what it was.
