I want to add memory to my computer, but can someone please advise me on what type of RAM chips to buy, and how to properly insert/install them (I've never done this before)?

Some info about my computer:

Pentium Celeron (currently has only 64MB of memory)
Operating System: Windows XP (just upgraded it last night)
CPU manufacturer: Compaq

Any tips would also be appreciated. Thanks!!
