At the risk of sounding very dumb, I finally have to cave and ask. Windows Media Player keeps automatically opening every time I start up my PC (I have XP if that's relevant). Anyway, I keep looking for options on the dang thing because usually you can find something that says "Automatically run at Startup" and then just uncheck the box, but Windows Media Player doesn't even have that option!!! I don't know why my PC all of a sudden decided to keep opening it at Startup. This wouldn't bother me, except that my PC is slow and takes forever to boot it up and I hate WMP slowing it down even more. How do I get rid of it? I don't really want to uninstall it, but if I have to, le *sigh*.

    Help. Please. Thanks. From Stupid.
