Hey everyone, I am not sure if this is the right place for me to ask this but, I am not sure where else I could ask.

I am new to the whole photoshop/animation shop thing.   I have been trying to resize this picture (behind the cut) for icons and I have no idea what I am doing wrong, it keeps getting distorted.



This is what I start with



and when I resize it this is what it looks like



any idea what I am doing wrong? Thanks for any help
