  • Graphically Challanged!

    I NEED HELP!
    Honestly, I am so graphically challenged it's driving me up the wall! Here is my dilemma:

    I need a gif title bar that doesn't look like ass.

    I know that a .png is the best file to get the lovely transparency with. However, I have to save it as a .gif to get the animation. Does anyone know how to get the .gif to look nice without that ugly-ass white boarder around it? Is there any suggestions on how to get this to work? I am desperate for anybody's help with this. I just spent six hours learning how to get a video in a gif and making the design, and now it's all bleh. I would really appreciate any help. I'm feeling tired and frustrated.

    And since I'm making a post, in coding, what is it called (or what is the coding) to get your url to stay fixed? What I mean is, when someone goes to your site (ie. www.frozentears.org) and clicks on a page the address bar changes to (www.frozentears.org/page.html) how does one get their url to stay (www.frozentears.org) in the address bar regardless of the link they click on?

    Anyway. I'm desperate for your help.

  • Help!

    Is anyone really smart and knows anything about RSS feeds? It's confusing me. I'm trying to make a podcast, and I've entered in everything right (at least, I think I have) but it keeps saying I have an error. I uploaded a word document with the RSS feed code onto my webhost, but it keeps saying this message: "This page contains the following errors: error on line 1 at column 1: Document is empty." If anyone can explain to me what this means and why it's happening, it would be much appreciated, thanks!

    2. Table Problem?

      I'm having a bit of a problem in viewing a certain page on my site in Firefox. For some reason the table extends beyond limit that I have the main 'content' div set at. This problem is only occurring in Firefox (looks great in IE) and only happens on that one page. I have tried to keep my HTML as consistent as possible throughout the entire site for easy maintenance but I have no idea why this is happening on this page. Any help would be appreciated.

    3. myspace help.

      so for awhile i've been using this code to put songs on my myspace profile so the song wasn't visible on my page. recently, i went to edit my profile and i notced that the code was changed. so i changed it back to its normal code, but the code keeps changing back to this strange code and it won't play my song anymore. i'm really confused and frustrated. can someone please tell me what i'm doing wrong and tell me how to fix it? thanks!

    4. rollover objects

      Hi everyone.
      I wonder if someone can help me with my HTML-problem :)
      I'm trying to create a rollover object (i work in Dreamweaver MX 2004, but use the code functions more than the graphic interface)... After i create it it works perfectly well in "preview", but in the real life, when i upload it, the only thing i can see in the browser is the white square with a small red cross in the corner instead of the object (although the link does work). Preview browser is identical to the one i ususally use, i tried it in different browsers, checked the uploaded images... all is fine.

    5. iframes

      I have three iframes there...but when you bring the browser window in and out (using your mouse) the top frame gets eaten up by the bottom ones. Is there any way to 'lock' the top and left frame so it doesn't change size. I put in the 'noresize' tag, but that didn't seem to make any difference. Any help would be appreciated! Take a look at my html, maybe I've done the tags wrong.

I run an icon/graphics community called '[info]'7monthsickness and I upload my stuff to Photobucket, put the codes in a new lj entry, and only half of them show up. the rest are just links. I've re-uploaded, checked all the codes, etc. I can't see any difference between the codes for the icons/graphics that DO show up, and the ones that don't. what could be the problem?

  • My Blogger Layout has an ERROR! HELP!!

    Well I was just changing up my journal a little bit. I used to be pretty good with HTML but I sorta stopped using it and now I just have a few problems with my overrides.
    My layout's simple, I have generator.
