1. *sigh*...can't get list to format right

    Hope someone will give me a hand with this entry in my journal. It's supposed to be a list with a few different levels, e.g., there'll be a list item, and then a few related sub-items underneath it. As you can tell, the page doesn't indent any of the list items - they're all left-justified (further to the left than the body text, which I also don't get). I've gone through a bunch of HTML reference guides and tried using text-to-HTML editors, etc, but I can't get the entry to look right.

    Is there something I should be doing with blockquotes? Is this a CSS thing...? Any help/advice will be rewarded with pathetic, supplicating gratitude.

    Hi. I have a bit of a problem. I wrote this general story for the community '[info]'15minuteficlets, but my text has gotten all weird. A paragraph will continue on forever in one straight line. The story can be found here if anyone wants to look at it and help me figure out what's wrong. I used the tags: < pre > and < /pre > to keep the same format with my indents, and I think that's the problem. If anyone knows another tag that works with LJ to just add indents, that'd be helpful, but I can't seem to find anything that works but this.

  6. override problem

    Hi, I'm using CSS to push my generator style boxes to the right of my screen. Everything is working great, except that squashing them smaller than 100% of their normal size seems to screw up the mood and music lines, they're now squished down very small to the left side of the generator boxes.

    Sorry if that doesn't make sense. x.x;;;

    Is there some additional code I can put it to make them not do that or something?

  7. Looking for Help With My Layout...

    Hello. I seem to be having some trouble with my new layout. I made it a few weeks ago, and it looked fine until yesterday, when for some reason the bar with my user icon and links was stretched out across the whole screen. Up until yesterday it was half the length. I didn't change anything or do anything in the layout editor, and everything else is normal.

    What could be wrong with it? As far as I can tell (and I'm obviously no expert) all the percentages are correct.

  8. Zencart override help

    I'm trying to figure out where in my overrides I can change my background to the color of code #FF6699.
    And where there are orange bars to #FF6666.

    Hmmm, I've checked around, but since my current computer doesn't like Livejournal and therefore doesn't show a lot of stuff, I may have missed something.

    I'm not sure how to phrase this, let me try:
    Is there any way to make a thumbnail of a picture that links to the picture without making a thumbnail?

    No, that's hard to understand.

    What I want to do is have a thumbnail of a picture, in which you click on the thumbnail to go to the full-sized picture, but is there any way/code/something that allows you to do this without making a thumbnail of each picture; like the thumbnail is just part of the code to preview the picture?

    I'm very sorry. I'm bad when it comes to both HTML and describing things.
